My SplodgeAway Create and Craft Samples

Hi All,
The new SplodgeAway masks are BRILLIANT to work with!!! Do pop over to their blog and shop to see all the details of them. Here are the samples I made for the Create and Craft Show. Unfortunately, they were not shown on T.V. as they were lost in the post!!!! So pleased that this time I had taken some photographs!!!!
So here is the rather picture heavy post. Do hope you like them and enjoy seeing more inspiration on the SplodgeAway Blog, from the rest of the Design Team.

For this I cut the new Splodge Board in pieces and having found a little old box was able to create a real 3D Nativity Scene. I left the board white as I wanted to get that Scandinavian Xmas feel for this. Stars and a snow effect were positioned first for the background. Below is the lid, which slides in place over the nativity and will protect it year after year!!

Here is the new Splodge Board shapes. They give such dimension and can be coloured painted inked and so much more!! A Christmas wall hanging to greet you visitors maybe, or could easily be altered to use as a countdown for Christmas!!

This is my another card using the board. Fabulous skates this time. Embossed and glittered.
This final selection uses many of the new Christmas masks but there are very many more on their blog!!! Firstly, a cheery Snowman....and snow woman mask!!!Again these can be used  in all manner of ways and there's loads of inspiration on the SplodgeAway Blog again!!!
and a little close up too.
Next up a real favourite of mine that could be used for so many people at all times of the year!!
and a second of this.....
What is Christmas without Santa and his sleigh!!!
and a little close up of all the parcels!
This is made with the same mask, but with just Rudolph pulling the sleigh!!
This more abstract mask is great for all occasions too not just Xmas!!

More cheery snowmen, this time the mask was used to create the snowy scene.

This is a great mask! Used the background leaves to create the background for the card and a section from the owls to create the border, which has a perforated edge so that the bookmark can be removed and used.
There are all sorts of ideas you could use this mask with!!

Well a long picture post, which I hope you enjoyed seeing.
Thanks for any comments that you choose to leave
Happy Crafting till next time
Carol xx

  1. You've been really busy making all these wonderful cards! The nativity scene you've created is beautiful - the splodged background looks great for this scene! I also love the cards with the reindeer, you've given them such a great vintage, masculine feel with the inking and choice of colors and designs. Also like how you made the ice skates sparkle, and the background works so well with this design!
